On October 12th, JCHC hosted a dedication for Jack Theisen at the JCHS Scripture Rocks Park. Jack, whose idea it was to make this a park, passed away August 2023.
Jack lived at the Brookville end of Sulgar Rd, just a stone’s throw from the park, and often hiked these woods, taking others to show them the inscribed boulders.
A bench was dedicated in his name, surrounded by family and friends. JCHC Board and Staff (Larry Anthony, Ken Burkett and Kat Lyons) then took everyone on a tour of the Park.
Jack’s wife Cheryl Theisen, Mom and step-Dad, Molly and David Stickley, and sister Jean Britton King were all present and very touched by the dedication.
