Presented by JCHC and North Fork Chapter #29 of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology
JCHC will host a FREE “Tour of the Rocks” at 2PM. Meet at the Park: Rte 28 N. about 2 miles east of Brookville.
This Park has a Rock Art site with 67 inscribed boulders telling the story of Douglas Stahlman, the eccentric inscriber;
a Native Plant-Pond-Pollinator Habitat, and a Native American Rockshelter. The park is located east of Brookville on Rte 28, 1/8 mile south of I-80, Exit 81.
In the evening from 5-8 PM, come by our booth at the Town Square to learn more about the Pakr’s Native American Rockshelter
We will also have Native American Artifacts and Hunting Craft on hand: Atlatl, primitive bow and a flint-knapping demonstration.
